The song is about facing the fact we are not getting any younger and time as we know it becomes even more valuable as we move on. One can actually feel it. It's the fear of the inevitable. A bit exaggerated and paranoid though but what the heck, it's rock and roll. Ironically written as a personal lyrical gift to myself for my 50th birthday.
