Howdy folks!
I've got something special for you today…..
This is the DredgeTone “Dredge More” overdrive/distortion/booster. Whatever you want to call it, It does it all. It adds tons of drive, sustain and juice to your guitar signal and lets you get rid of boomy and unwanted low-end by using the LO CUT filter to tighten up your sound. It's a nice option to have. Great for soloing and riffing where busy and detailed playing needs focus or if you are simply using a low-end heavy guitar amp. Just roll of some low-end with the variable LO CUT filter and you're good to go. The more low-end you're rolling off, the more it gets into that classic treble booster territory. Also great for brightening up a dull and wooly sounding amp. That's pretty cool, isn't it?! Leave the LO CUT filter off and you have a fat, dense and sustaining OD/Distortion in spades. Then we have the TOP BOOST toggle switch. In the “UP” position, there's a boost at 1kHz. In the “DOWN” position, there's a boost at 2kHz and in the “MIDDLE” position, it's neutral/off and no top boost at all. The toggle switch is great if you want to add in a slight amount of midrange at 1 or 2k. Good to have if you're using a “scooped” amp and wants to add some mids for your solo-tone. The mid boost is clearly noticeable but it doesn't appear overwhelmingly huge or brutal. It is just enough with approximately 2 or 3 dB's of boost. This pedal is just as great for blues players as it is for classic rock and metal players and everything in between and beyond and; it works on every amp. Use this pedal on a Marshall, a Fender or a Vox and it will always put a smile on your face, just as it did on mine.
This is not another Tubescreamer or Klon Cenatur clone. The “Dredge More” pedal isn't really based on any pedal in particular and wasn't intended to be. It's a 100% original. I was so lucky to get in touch with John Joseph a few years ago and I introduced him to some ideas I had and so the “Dredge More” was born. Well, it didn't happened that quickly but it was a start and here we are today. John did a fantastic job with the electronics, testing and assembly and the finished product happened to be even better than I had ever dreamed it would be. I now use the “Dredge More” on almost everything from solos to heavy riffing and more. Yes, it's an amazing drive unit and it's got lots of bite and MOJO. It sometimes reminds me of (again, not a clone of) the Z Vex Supert Hard On, Dallas Rangemaster and ProCo Rat. Perhaps a bit EHX Big Muff as well on extreme level and gain settings. That's the closest I can think of as I haven't tested each and every OD/DISTORTION pedal made available to mankind yet. It depends on what I'm using it for and what guitar and amp I'm going for.
DredgeTone is an American guitar effects manufacturer that was founded back in the 90's by John Joseph who is still with the company and the owner of DredgeTone. DredgeTone went out of business in the early 2000's but now they're finally back with a range of new pedals and many exciting new products to come. I recommend you checking out DredgeTone pedals at:

Here's a demo of the “Dredge More” prototype I recorded a while ago before DredgeTone had come up with a name for the pedal. Check it out. More demos coming soon.

Thanks for buying the DredgeMore Pedal!
It’s an ultra versatile overdrive/distortion pedal that has a few extra features that allow you to dial in tones that you like. Below are the descriptions of the DredgeMore Controls:
Gain: Sets the drive of the OD/Dist stage, controlling the amount of signal clipping. It’s a logarithmic taper pot allowing some dynamic control of the overdrive when set at 1 o’clock or below.
TOP Switch:
0 = No Top Boost
1kHz = Top Boost @ ~ 1kHz
2kHz = Top Boost @ ~ 2kHz
LO CUT: Sets the lower cutoff frequency of the output stage High Pass Filter. At full Counter Clockwise the cutoff is at ~80 Hz and essentially out for a guitar. At full Clockwise, the low frequency cutoff is at ~1.6kHz, and well, that can be pretty interesting.
LEVEL: Sets the overall level of the pedal. At full Counter Clockwise the signal is all the way off, a thing I never really understood about pedal level pots, but it’s what pedal makers do, so why argue.
POWER: Uses standard, 9V, negative tip pedal power. The NOS/1995 version should not see anything above 10V DC, the 2025 can run safely on 12V.
*If you have 1 of the 9 NOS/1995 versions, then you have True Bypass. If you have a 2025 DM pedal, then there is a switch inside that allows you to choose a true, DC coupled, wideband buffered bypass or a true wired bypass.
